Remember, it is very tough for us since your wedding day is SO fast paced to continuously be pulling out a list to look over. We want to never miss a moment and in order to do that; we need to constantly be paying attention to what’s happening all around us. Ask yourself with each must-have shot if it’s something you’ll regret later if you don’t get it and if it is, definitely put it down because your day does go by so quickly and we don’t want anything missed so please don’t misunderstand what we’re saying! Also, when we’re constantly bugging you about photos on your list, we’re taking you away from being able to enjoy your day which we most definitely want to avoid! So if it’s truly a must-have, add it, because if you don’t, it may get missed. If not, then just let us shoot everything happening so we thoroughly cover all of your precious moments. *There is no need to list common sense requests like the first kiss.

Family

Please list all of your immediate family members/ grandparents (and if parents are divorced). Additionally, list their relationship to you. For example: Jamie (mom).

*Remember to add in nieces/ nephews, as well as brother/ sister-in-laws and let us know which family the kiddos are in.

Bridal Party

Please list everyone in your wedding party. Be sure to include what relationship they are to you as well as what role they play in your wedding.

For example: Bill (groom’s brother and a groomsmen). *Be sure to list the ages of ring bearer(s), flower girl(s), and junior groomsmen / junior bridesmaids.

*Remember to include all ushers, personal attendant(s), flower girl(s), ring bearer(s), and anyone else who you’ll want to include in your wedding party photos (some people include their readers and officiant as well).

*Please have the rings included with all of the details to start the day. *Allow about 45 minutes for this portion of pre-ceremony.

During the ceremony, we will capture all events.
*Even if you do a first look, we still get the groom’s face and yours immediately when you begin your walk down the aisle. Are there any events happening off to the side or not typical that we should know about? Are you kissing in the middle of the ceremony or at the end when you are pronounced husband and wife? *Please try to practice your kiss and do more than a peck so we can get multiple shots of this. Additionally, does your officiant have rules that we need to know about? For example, no flash, can’t be in front of church during processional etc. If so, be sure you know these and are ok with them prior.

We know a lot of the answers to the questions we’ve listed below but just want to be sure we explain things perfectly. We feel your words will be much better than ours so we’re going to just ask you to answer a handful of questions. Have fun with this, write any and everything you think of, and be as specific as possible because we really want a beautifully written blog for you to relive your day and share!   If you don’t have time to answer these questions, that’s completely fine. If you have the chance to answer these questions, that would be so incredibly appreciated as we are very excited to capture in your words the story that your images tell.   The questions below will really help us to share your details in our blog. Again, many of the answers we do think we know but we want to be sure we get it right!

We also want to be sure we’re properly crediting your vendors. Please list your specific vendors so we can thank them for their part in your special day! Feel free to leave any blank if you didn’t use the services of that particular type of vendor or for any other reason.
